In these present times it’s important to have our finger on the pulse of our local real estate market. Here is a chart showing the pricing trends for the Denver Metro for 2011. As you can see, the median prices dipped starting in November of 2010 and started increasing late spring of 2011. It appears that home prices peaked last month (September 2011) and are declining. Not to fret, this is a common seasonal trend as the summer real estate rush begins to taper off.
Bottom Line – home prices are still up about 2% from last year at this time which is a good sign. If you have questions about your neighborhood or your house give me a shout. I would be happy to do an in depth price analysis for you.
