“Mike, how’s business?” I get that question all the time and my automatic reply is “great”. Things are steady and referrals are keeping me busy. However, I realize many of you don’t have a reference point to know just how I’m doing….or how other realtors you know are doing. What is considered “good”….and what is considered “busy”…and what is considered average or below average? Well, those that know me well know I am very transparent……..but I think it’s important that you see my real numbers for 2010 and can see why I say I feel blessed to have your referrals and what a difference they make. I feel a professional in any industry should fully disclose just how and why they are better than their competition. Here are Taylor Realty Group, we really are doing better than average…Praise God!! Here are some crazy statistics to give some perspective on the industry:
Only 51% of Licensed Realtors did at least 1 Sale Last Year
That means half of licensed agents didn’t sell ONE HOUSE – that’s nuts!
The Top 16% of Listing Agents Have 80% of the Sales
(that is even higher than the age old 80/20 rule)
